Client: Wolli Creek High Rise Cleaning

Project Scope: Magic Glass was contracted to perform their annual exterior window clean of the high rise residential building.

Duration: The project was completed over 8 days.

Delivery Model

Cleaning was carried out using rope access techniques to reach the exterior windows. The team took into account wind safety through the job and staged the cleaning directionally (north side first, then progressing to the south) to optimize safety.

The Challenge

Because this is a high rise property, safety is a major concern, particularly when working at height. Wind conditions can change quickly, affecting rope access safety. Consistency in cleaning large spans of glass, ensuring no streaks or damage, also adds complexity.

The Solution

Magic Glass’s Rope Access Division used wind-aware scheduling (starting on the more sheltered north side) and adhered to strict safety practices throughout. Their experienced team, equipment and sequencing allowed them to clean safely, efficiently and to high visual standard.

The Feedback

The building manager provided very positive feedback. Tenants were pleased with how clean the exterior windows looked once the work was complete. The overall result met expectations in both safety and visual quality.
